About Me
We are all part of life’s unfolding journey…
I love all of my artwork. I hope it brings you joy. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do…

Welcome...
Dear friends
Whilst growing up, I never thought that art was something I’d be passionate about – or be good at. But as I reflect on my life and on how it’s unfolded, I realise that if I hadn’t lived this long, I’d never have known I could paint.
This sentiment applies to many other aspects of my life, and I’m sure it’s the same for you. You only have to take a close look at your life to find that certain ideas and talents you now have needed time and space to develop.
Being alive and on this journey called life, means we are continually evolving. We’re always in the process of unfolding, becoming and being. Though this ensures we’re never bored, we must stay open to become all that we can be. We are an endless well of possibilities. We are much more than we think we are. We must honour this, both in ourselves and in others.
I’m so glad you’re here at this moment to celebrate and to share in this unfolding journey with me. And I hope you find something here that really speaks to you and to who you truly are.
Thanks for being here.
With much love,
Esther.
How it all began...
Back in 2017, I was searching through social media for artists to help me create some artwork to accompany a poem I had written.
Whilst doing this, I stumbled on a body of work by the mixed-media artist Kelly Rae Roberts. I was moved by her work and fascinated by her talent and creativity. Eager to learn more about her, I searched the internet and found more of her stunning work.
Kelly also had a variety of online courses on offer. Intrigued, I decided to enrol. This was despite my doubts from my past experiences of not following through with some courses I’d started. But I took the plunge, and to my surprise, I was able to complete them.
I’m glad I did – as, I’m here today, with my own body of work to share with you because of this. Since then, I’ve attended other art courses, but I’ll always remember the first time I stumbled upon Kelly’s work.
I love my work and hope it brings you joy.
Thank you for being here.

My Process...
I often don’t have an idea of what will be expressed on my canvas before I begin an art piece, but my process is usually prompted by an urge or feeling of wanting to paint or create. In honouring this urge, I lay out my canvas and begin to feel for the colours I’d like to use in creating the background.
Sometimes – especially for commissioned work – I know what colours to use ahead of the process. In that case, I begin by feeling for and preparing shades of the selected colours.
As for the images that appear on the canvas, I rarely have an idea of what will appear. I go with whatever shapes come to mind as I paint. In other words, I paint-in or pencil-in faces without knowing what it will look like. The final piece is often as much a surprise to me as it is to anyone watching the process unfold.
The messages or titles of the art piece emerge from my sense of what the art is seeking to convey. The messages are often empowering and have multiple meanings, but they always bear a spiritual perspective to life and living.
The process of creating an art piece and uncovering its message is incredibly rewarding – and sharing it with others is fulfilling.
I hope you enjoy what you see.
Thank you for being here.
My other life...
Apart from being a mixed-media artist, I’m a psychotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner, hypnotherapist, Time-Line Therapist, Reiki Master, and a keen meditator. I also write in my spare time and consider myself a peace-lover and a student of life.
Moreover, I have a special interest in learning and sharing ways of becoming emotionally and spiritually aware. I care passionately about assisting people in becoming all they are capable of being. Life is an ever-unfolding journey and I wonder what else will show up for me in the future.
