This painting was created for the 50^th birthday of a sister-friend of mine. It is called “I’m truly grateful”. I thought it would help in celebrating her age. It is a gift to be able to reach the age of 50 -or any age for that matter. There are many that would have liked to live till they were 50 but just didn’t make it. In fact, we should celebrate waking up each day. We should celebrate each new day too.

You may want to have this for yourself, just to remind yourself to celebrate each moment. You may want to give this as a gift to someone who is celebrating their birthday or an important occasion of their life.

I think it is a special one to have around you and in your living space – or even in your workspace if you choose. It can help serves as a reminder to always consider the things you are grateful for.

I love the colours and the youthfulness of this painting. It also reminds me of new beginnings, more because it was one of my first few paintings of ladies with headgears or headscarves.
